Senior IT Application Manager
About our client
For our client, who is continuously evolving to create unique value, we are looking for:
Your responsibilities
- Application Ownership for various customer-facing and/or corporate applications
- Ensure correct functioning, availability and performance of business applications including Incident and Problem Management
- Support sustainable implementation of functional and non-functional requirements including Test, Defect and Change Management
- Coordinate and facilitate external developers
- Ensure adequate and well-structured documentation
- Support the team in adopting agile best practices, implementing agile ceremonies and a high-degree of self-organization
- Tracking and managing impediments, keeping KANBAN board updated
Your profile
- Bachelor degree in Information Technology or equivalent/higher degree
- Minimum 5 years of experience in development and/or application manager role
- Experience with vendor management, in particular setting and managing delivery expectations, plans, testing etc.
- Experience as (part time) Scrum Master
- Proven experience in Agile principles and way of work, coding standards and industry best practices, PowerShell
- Proven experience in working with Azure Platform, DevOps (preferably Azure DevOps), .NET development (preferably C#), SQL (preferably T-SQL), REST API and Web Applications
- Excellent English (min. C1) and good German (B1) language skills
- Strong analytical capabilities, solution-oriented, customer-focused, confident, self-organised
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders are a must
- Strong interest to help the team to adopt a culture of continuous improvement and self-management
